Fair Winds (to unknown prior owner)

Hi Ron

,
I just purchased Hull 90 and sailed her down from SF to Coyote Point Marina. I'm looking forward to doing some refurbishing of the interior and woodwork, and I'm so grateful for all the info you've compiled on this site. I'll get in touch soon with updates

Cheers,

Will Stedden

August 14, 2020 We got the following email and update from Will.

Hi,

I bought hull #90 a few years back, and wanted to share some posts I made about her condition and repairs I've done.

https://bonkerfield.org/2019/05/ionis-solar-electrical-system/
https://bonkerfield.org/2018/06/introducing-ione/
https://bonkerfield.org/2019/09/woodworking-motor-work-and-head/

Sadly, I'll think I'll also be posting it to craigslist soon. Had some great times, but I'm moving away from the area and don't think I can bring it with me.

Thanks for keeping the site going and congrats on your book,

Will Stedden

Webmaster Note: Clicking the links above will be worth the effort as Will provides a lot of detail and photos on his restoration efforts. We've lifted a neat photo to post here and will add the links to our Technical Section/Repairs

Stay tuned

Things moved fast and Tony checked in later with an email - see below.

The following is the updated Craigslist ad, the direct link to the ad, Tony's phone # and photos

Hi Ron.

Thanks for contacting me. Here are some pictures, i have others if you need different features. It is hull # 90, you have it on your website still. I purchased the boat over a year ago and have not been able to sail her yet.

I'm just putting it out there if someone is interested. Great looking boat, as they all are or can become.

Regards

Tony Silva
