On September 13, 2008 a major rainstorm dumped a record amount of rain upstream of Wilmette Harbor that resulted in a sudden release of pent up flood waters. The rush of water caused as many as 30 boats to get loose with lots of damage and several total losses - one of which was Jim Rohner's Dolphin 24 "No Name".
