I have been researching trailers in my quest for my own Dolphin 24, and I thought others might also be interested in how much it might cost for a new trailer. Here is a link to a quote from Triad Trailers (temporary link, will die in a couple weeks.)

A nice lift-off trailer with electric brakes will set me back $4,605.00 while a surge brake float-off $5,380.00, and there are far too many whistles and bells to be optionally added-on. And none of these prices include the shipping from North Carolina.

I am calculating the price of a new trailer into any the total costs of all the boats which do not include one.

Thanks, Ron!

I am actually seriously looking for a used trailer which can fit the boat now. I have e-mailed quotes for new trailers ranging from $3850-7699, but my budget to justify has to come in at > $2000 or the numbers actually flip the 'project' boat to being more expensive than the 'non-project' boat.

Learning more every day I work toward getting a Dolphin!
