I will need to replace my front stay but cannot find dimensions or wire thickness. I have tried searching the sight without success. Does that basic information rest somewhere that I am overlooking? Thanks.

Hi Jack
check out http://www.dolphin24.org/1497-4_Sail_Plan_big.html

Wire size on the O'Day was/is 3/16" 1x19. No length given, I think, because of minor variations by the builder/first owner in turnbuckles, stemhead fittings and mast/mast head fittings. The key was to fit the max sail luff and those dimensions are given. Then there is the mast rake issue...

You might check with S&S - they are pretty good about providing this kind of info - info@sparkmanstephens.com or http://www.sparkmanstephens.com/contact/

Plus measuring what you have now is what I would do - maybe run a flexible tape up along the present forestay using the spinnaker halyard.

Let us know

I have all my standing rigging laid out on the patio right now. I'll get a set of measurements for the record.
Beautiful boats and fair winds!
