Mike Colucci's Yankee #176, "Breezin'"(soon to be named "Heaven Sent"), near West Point, New York - updated July 10, 2022
August 28, 2019 - Mike Colucci checked in on the Forum in as the new owner of Yankee #176, 'Breezin'. She is a 'newly found Dolphin' our 236th!

I am the new owner of Hull #176 (Currently named " Breezin") Her past owner was Michael Curry who gave the boat to his daughter after he passed away and then, as it sat forlorn for 3 years at our Yacht Club, I took ownership of it this summer in hopes of doing a full restoration of the boat.

The boat is in need of lots of TLC (new paint job, new bottom job, cushions, all the brightwork needs to be done, but the boat is in solid condition as far as hull and rigging...The boat is in New York on the Hudson River north of New York City (65 nm)

March 13, 2021 Mike's into his TLC projects - He posted the following message up on the Dolphin 24 Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/dolphin24sailboats

Hi all.

I’m in the middle of a overhaul /refit of hull no. 176

Previous owner painted it white but as I’m sanding and prepping for a new paint job I was contemplating a new hull color.

Thoughts? Ideas?

I was thinking a pale yellow, white deck/cockpit. Black boot stripe and black cove stripe ?

I’m using Alexseal marine paints
