Hello all,
The first outing happened on 8/28/2011 under power.
The outboard ran as well as can be expected for a motor
that was under water for months. Took us out and brought us back. . . twice.
Once for luck, just Verna and I, and the second trip
with her son, his wife, and the grandson.
Sometimes ran rough, but kept running.
I moved the boat today to another temporary
dock. Access to water let me use the pressure washer
to move the mud. Battery life for the bilge pump,
and the heat, caused an early quit time for me.
Worked from 8:00 AM to 12:45 and got a
LOT of mud out. Looking better all the time. Wink
To stay at this dock, I have to build some fender
boards to keep the shrouds away from the support
poles for the dock. At present it is tied away and
partially aground. The lake is dropping 1" per day
and we need rain badly.
Will try to keep the updates coming with pertinent
information and fotos when I can get some good ones
and learn to upload them.
Thanks to all for the interest,
John T.

JT,
the easiest way to post photo's is to open a free Flickar account with Yahoo. Ties into your email real easy and is easy to post with.
And it's a great place to store pics of your restoration project! It's what I used to post pics of my hatch cover to one of your earlier
requests.
Beautiful boats and fair winds!
