So, any one out there have any thoughts about an asymmetric spinnaker for the dolphin? It seems to me a weak spot of light
air reaching could be helped with this sail. Maybe something that could be carried fairly close to the wind? Had a PHRF race
recently that I think we would have made out well with an asymmetric. Couldn't quite carry the symmetric, but not close hauled.
Not many boats in the fleet seem to carry them though. Let me know what you think.

Your instincts are correct. That said, in order to take full advantage of the assym you need to fly it off of a pole so that
you can articulate the luff aft. Otherwise you'll be limited to reaching angles. I can give you the rigging details if you're
really interested...assyms worked very well on my big boat and an Express 27.
