Yankee Dolphin 190 has lost her centerboard in a heavy sea that broke it off. After some rather alarming slapping from side to side of
the keel the line to the board gave way and it was gone. Now the replacement saga must be begun. Any help with suggested sources for
replacement centerboard, patterns and instructions on how to approach the project would be appreciated.

 Hi Ted
Feeling bad here nobody has replied to your query. I have no special knowledge, but if I were you, I'd get a pattern from someone, and
have a new board made in bronze.

You should check in on the centerboard page of the technical section of the website. Lots of info there. I know that Ron, our webmaster,
has worked on centerboards in the past on at least two Dolphins. He may be able to give you a pattern to check against the remains of your
board. I think that I'd probably build a plywood mockup of the board, to check fit in the trunk, and then have one made out of plate bronze,
to be ground to a foil shape.
