Hello,
I have a rather simple question...when does one put the center board down?...I tend to put it down regularly as I think it increases stability. Since I single hand for the most part I don't like to heel too much in puffy winds. Thanks

Hi Jack
This must be a trick question - you have an expert in the family!

I always have my board down when beating to weather. I believe that my boat points about five degrees higher with the board down in any wind higher than 5-6 knots.
