May 8, 2019. In over the transom - a newly found Dolphin - Pacific Dolphin #283, our 234th!. She's For Sale. Here's owner Rick Giorvigen's email (minor edits)

.Hi Ron....

Saw your name on 'the' Dolphin 24 website.....it is time to sell our beloved Pacific Dolphin 24 named the "Freemantle Doctor".....a classic .....

I believe hull number is 283.. She's located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and stored under a roof each winter with the family owning the boat for more than 30
years. Has sails, seats, trailer and all gear you need to get going.......needs normal season start , touch ups but everything is sound.........we hate the thought of her leaving us but hoping for a new good home........

Make us an offer FOB, Grand Rapids, Minnisota

.Rick M Glorvigen

postscript .Thanks Ron…..this is like selling the family dog….it is such a great boat, has given us so much joy thru the years….If I could sail it to heaven I would. The boat has been owned by same family for more than 30 years…..sailed Lake Superior for a number of years out of Marquette, Michigan…….and then sailed on a small inland lake in northern Minnesota by the name of Pokegama Lake. Thanks for doing what you do…..rick
